a (pretty) ordinary year | week 7

When will the sickness end?! Yet another reason to look forward to spring.. Here we go.

week 7

feb 12 – One of the downsides to S going to school is that F has to be woken up from his nap so we can go to the bus stop at the end of the day. So most of my weekdays involve this tantrum on the stairs. Good times.

feb 13 – The sickness strikes again! Any time my little miss starts to take a nap, I know we’re in trouble. Stomach flu attack.

feb 14 – Valentine’s day had me striken with whatever S had. But I did manage to get a shot of little Alley soaking up the sun before I retreated into a ball for the rest of the day.

feb 15 – It was Family Day. Typically we go out and do some fun outdoor activities, but because we were still recovering, we decided to go low key and hit up the McDonald’s playland instead. S insisted on wearing her Supergirl costume – cape and all.

feb 16 – F got some Kinetic Sand for Christmas – and it keeps touting itself as being so much cleaner than Play Doh. Um, I beg to differ.

feb 17 – I am in awe of this girl’s belly laughs. She has such abandon when she laughs – it’s infectious.

feb 18 – He insists on making a few calls whenever we come here. I was surprised he actually knew what it was.

That’s it for this week! Don’t forget to follow the circle and see what had Melissa Hines had in store this week! She’s got an adorable shot of a polar bear!

Until next time, xo

  1. I’m with you on that kinetic sand…it’s a mess! I love the photo of your daughter laughing in the car! Such a happy, genuine moment!

  2. I hope you are feeling better now! I love the laughing and can so relate to having to wake a napping kid to get another from school, so tough. And the pay phone, awesome! I can’t believe there is still one around.

Have something to say?
