a (pretty) ordinary year | week 4

This week was filled with glimpses of sunlight – which gives me hope that that little groundhog is going to come through for us next week. We’re counting on you, Willie!

week 4

22|366 – Doing some couch flips on a Friday afternoon. Sticking his feet in my face is apparently hilarious.

23|366 – Nothing’s better than a really big box. They are lucky that shipping fees are pretty ridiculous right now.

24|366 – He decided to give Daddy a bit of a trim.

25|366 – We got a glimpse of the sun for the first time in a LONG time today. Man, I missed it.

26|366 – You know you don’t bake a lot when your kid looks this delighted to see something in the oven. Don’t get used to it, kid.

27|366 – This one means a lot to me. As she gets older, we don’t spend as much one on one time together. Except on Wednesdays. That’s when I take her to swimming lessons, and we have a Mommy/Daughter dinner date at Wendy’s. With swimming lessons just about over, I thought it would be great to capture this moment. So I brought my camera, set the timer and had fun. The other people at Wendy’s didn’t even react. I guess people do it all the time.

28|366 – What I love about this image is that although you can’t really see it, he is sitting on her hand. It was her idea – she knew he wasn’t wearing snow pants and didn’t want him to get all wet. Who is this kid? I love her.
